Skycoog 0 #1 May 31, 2002 It's sort of late and I'm sort of shooting arrows into the air but here goes.A pick up 4 way team needs one more member for TSL at Skydive Houston this weekend. People so far include 2 members of Arizona Evolution (Alan Metni's 8 way team), and one from Arizona Vengeance (Dan BC's 8 way team). Should be a good group. Skycoog 0 #3 June 3, 2002 Damn, why did'nt I think of that. I'm such a moron. I'm shocked by my own stupidity.We managed to find somebody and took 2nd in 4 way open. It was a well run meet with some really great teams participating. Juggernaut took 1st in Open and Otter Limits (I think) 1st in intermediate. Both were very impressive.I think ol' Hookie was fairly happy with the 8 way event. If you could have seen the look on his face in the door during the jump off you would have thought he was criminally insane. It was good to see him supercharged like that, I'd like to see more of it! skycat 0 #4 June 3, 2002 Yep he was definately stoked last night when he called. He couldn't beleive you almost kicked deguello's tush. I mean how many 8 way teams that have had 1 practice and with 1 member who hadn't jumped with the team ever tie deguello and have to do a jump off against them. You guys ROCKED!!!!! Just think what you could have done if you actually were able to practice together. I kind of feel bad for stealing him away to CO (but not that bad), but you should see how excited he was up here, it was like a kid in a candy store. Hooknswoop 19 #5 June 4, 2002 Coog-Had an absolute blast Sunday, thanks to all of Houston MACH 9 for a great 5 jumps. In at least two of the rounds Coog worked on his AFF skills, flying me around the sky. It was great, all I had to do was go neutral, close my eyes and close my hands when I felt grippers. He made me look good. Oh ya, when Coog says, "If there is any vertical, we'll go over", he means "We are going vertical, hang on". That was one heck of an introduction to 8-way.
