degeneration 5 #1 November 7, 2013 Can anyone translate the attached scans of the docs for a reserve canopy to tell me if any of the entries are for a live use? Or whether they are all just for standard repacks? Thanks.Sky Switches - Affordable stills camera tongue switches and conversion adaptors, supporting various brands of camera (Canon, Sony, Nikon, Panasonic). councilman24 37 #2 November 7, 2013 Should I point out the translation is along the top of the card? I'm old for my age. Terry Urban D-8631 FAA DPRE
Di0 2 #3 November 7, 2013 verifica trimetrale = threemonths periodic check verifica quadrimestrale = four months periodic check. idoneo = passed, good to go. Ass. Cypres = I guess it's cypres sent to maintenance (ass. = assistance, maintenance) I can't really read the stamps as they are faded, but the last two, on 24.01.07 and 24.05.07 say: - 24.01.07 - Three months check - passed - 24.01.07 - Four months packing - 24.05.07- 120 days , expires on 22.09.07 Before that I only read "idoneo" which again, means "passed", "safe". It looks good to me, as far as I can tell. And unless it's in one of those very faded logs, I don't see any "ride". Di0 2 #4 November 7, 2013 councilman24 Should I point out the translation is along the top of the card? Yes, but the exact meaning of what's written in the entries is not. :D And if you don't know italian, there is no way to know if the reserve has been rode or not... unless maybe you count the day between repacks and hope the guy didn't have perfectly scheduled reserve rides. LoL.I'm standing on the edge With a vision in my head My body screams release me My dreams they must be fed... You're in flight.
councilman24 37 #5 November 7, 2013 One of the last entries says something about repairs?I'm old for my age. Terry Urban D-8631 FAA DPRE
Di0 2 #6 November 7, 2013 Which one are you referring to? Ripiegamento simply means "repack".I'm standing on the edge With a vision in my head My body screams release me My dreams they must be fed... You're in flight.
councilman24 37 #7 November 7, 2013 You can read it better than I can. Thought it might say riparazioni.I'm old for my age. Terry Urban D-8631 FAA DPRE
degeneration 5 #8 November 7, 2013 It definitely says what DiO says it said! DiO, you're a legend! Many thanks for your assistance in translating this for me! Di0 2 #9 November 7, 2013 councilman24You can read it better than I can. Thought it might say riparazioni. The one I'm not exactly sure about is the one at the bottom of the first image, on 23-10-03, where the printing are completely faded and the hand-writing says something I honestly can't read to save my life: TRIG???LE No idea what that means. All others seem regular maintenance. I'd ask about that entry, if I were you. Then feel free to post his response and I'll let you know if it makes sense. Yes, riparazioni means "fixes", but I don't see any entry about them.I'm standing on the edge With a vision in my head My body screams release me My dreams they must be fed... You're in flight. degeneration 5 #10 November 8, 2013 The hand written squiggle on the 23/10/03 entry says "Triennale" which I assume means three months?Sky Switches - Affordable stills camera tongue switches and conversion adaptors, supporting various brands of camera (Canon, Sony, Nikon, Panasonic). Di0 2 #11 November 8, 2013 LOL, the rigger must be a doctor in his spare time, the hand-writing is just as bad. By the way, just to be picky-picky, trimestrale = three months. Triennale (which now I see is what's written there) = three years, but again, just another maintenance cycle, seems to me.I'm standing on the edge With a vision in my head My body screams release me My dreams they must be fed... degeneration 5 #12 November 8, 2013 No need to be picky, if I've translated wrong, then its wrong! But three years does make it sound like the faded stamp is the "verifica" bit before the triennale, just like on the 24-01-07 entry?Sky Switches - Affordable stills camera tongue switches and conversion adaptors, supporting various brands of camera (Canon, Sony, Nikon, Panasonic). Di0 2 #13 November 8, 2013 Yes, and the next 3-year check was done on 24-01-07 (6 months after what it should really have been, but I guess that's quite common since there were all the other 4-months repacks and check in between). P.S. RIPIEGATO SU CONTENITORE = repacked in container...I'm standing on the edge With a vision in my head My body screams release me My dreams they must be fed... You're in flight. degeneration 5 #14 November 8, 2013 What does the "Verifica 1 Livello" mean? It's on first page, 22/3/02 and 10/11/02.Sky Switches - Affordable stills camera tongue switches and conversion adaptors, supporting various brands of camera (Canon, Sony, Nikon, Panasonic). Di0 2 #15 November 8, 2013 First Level Check or First Level Verification. Whatever First Level means, no idea on that one... but that's it, literal translation.I'm standing on the edge With a vision in my head My body screams release me My dreams they must be fed...
