jncoughlin 0 #1 May 24, 2002 After on and off shitty weather in New England and having waited all winter I finally did my AFF level 1 and level 2 done today. At 50 years old, my friends think I'm crazy. Tomorrow we'll go for level 3 and 4.Now I know what my future holds. I'm going to spend my kid's college education at the dropzone. I'll probably call in sick enough to get fired. My wife will think I'm having an affair (I try like hell). My credit card will get maxed. All because I started skydiving. I could have become a golfer.NOT.

He replied what i have mentioned, he was a pilot, not a skydiver. he has my respect forever, for his endeavour! Richard"Gravity Is My Friend"

steve1 5 #11 May 24, 2002 jncoughlin,I know the feeling. Isn't this sport wonderful. I got sucked back in when I was 49 (a few years ago). I still have trouble thinking about anything else. It's like I exist, but only really feel alive when I'm jumping. It's also great being pumped up before and after a jump. And the people in the sport are Super! My only complaint is that I wish it was cheaper, but the rewards you reap are well worth it. Steve
