Sabrekakkonen 0 #51 February 17, 2017 Thanks. Was it gliding flat? Aerodyne tells it can reach 4:1 glide ratio which sounds unrealistic good, is this true? I have heard that zulu has good flare power, was it better than Pilot?
shadeland 5 #52 February 17, 2017 It felt pretty flat, but I'm used to pilots and crossfires, the pilot being really flat and the crossfire also being on the flat side. As such I don't notice a difference in that regard. Given that it turned more aggressively on a given toggle input I was surprised how weak the flare felt. It may be partly where the sweet spot is (Aerodynes tend to be deeper from my experience) and I just didn't have a chance to dial it in. But my impression is that it was weaker than the crossfire. Better than a pilot, but not much.

julius 0 #54 August 13, 2017 I have about 400+ jumps on my 122 and love it! A bit of rear riser will get you back from a long spot, the flare is deep but strong.

hackish 8 #56 August 14, 2017 I recommend that you take advantage of their great demo program and get some test jumps on one. I'm told that wingsuiters like the canopy, but the opening sequence wasn't to my taste. -Michael
julius 0 #57 August 15, 2017 glide angle is steeper than a spinetto, and flatter than a sabre2. recovery arc... it doesnt "pop up" like a stiletto when the front riser(s) is let up. I dont know much about canopy swooping but I enjoy front riser 90's and the occasional 180.
