Continuity/Mis-routing issue

In no way should what I'm about to say be considered a disparaging remark about ANY manufacturer, but long ago I made it a policy to NEVER accept gear assembled and packed by a manufacturer.

Everyone makes mistakes and I find it logical to add another set of eyeballs (local) to check over all equipment before it goes into service.

Hey, I know where one is. Or at least it was last week. Now in Michigan they're trying to make it easier for providers to drop land line service availability. You may have to rely on cell or the internet to try to reach 911 when the windstorm has knocked out your electricity.

And yes I know lots and lots of folks don't have land lines.

And for the above poster, yes traditional land line phones are powered through the phone line and don't need power cord, batteries, or chargers.
