freeflyguy 0 #1 May 10, 2002 I don't post here to talk about life much. But anyway, this is related to skydiving.2 years ago, I was either going to start on my pilots license, or try skydiving, but just once. 600 jumps later, I am a skydiver.Today, though, because of skydiving, I took my private pilot check ride, now I'm a pilot.Good stuff, I fly. Spy38W 0 #2 May 10, 2002 Congrats on both of your accomplishments, right now I'm in the other boat, I'm a low time jumper and full time pilot. Never stop learning--Give them a sip of the darkside, and they just thirst for more.
pilotdave 0 #3 May 10, 2002 Woohoo! Now you can do the funnest thing ever... fly to the DZ and jump (not in the same plane). I dont know what makes it so fun but I just love doing that. I guess just flying with a real goal at the destination makes it a lot funner. Davehttp://www.skydivingmovies.com

Jonno5 0 #5 May 10, 2002 I dunno, from what i remember from my days teaching primary flight students, they could barely keep the helicopter in the air. Im not sure what would have happened if i had jumped out!!!! But i always bully the company pilots to let me jump now when im giving re-currency training. freeflyguy 0 #9 May 10, 2002 QuoteWhen you gonna take me up?You trust me? I know you have seen me impact the pond at a million miles an hour, but OK, I like passengers. Besides, they won't let me use a parachute when I fly, so I am very careful.
