I remember when I was your age and all I could think of was wanting to be OLDER but ya know what, now that I am, it's going way too fast. Relax and enjoy your youth while you have it. hottamaly 1 #10 April 30, 2002 I'm not trying to criticize, nor be your mother. All I'm saying is try to be patient in the growing up part, that's all. We like good jokes as well as sick ones, but we are all adults here (age wise) that is, maybe not mentally but some of the things said on this site get very x-rated at times and I, at least, don't like to encourage that to young ones. It looked like you're trying to "fit in" by putting in that stuff, and you don't need to. Just be yourself and you'll fit in just fine. Glad to have you here and interested in skydiving. I wish I had found it at your age. Good luck with it and save your money, you'll need it. Get good grades to make lots of money in the job world to afford it. (grown up speech over) promise! The hardcopy version of the Onion is freely distributed here in Madison, and it's not uncommon to see highschool kids reading it at Noodles & Company over lunch time - I have yet to hear of any sigificant complaints being raised about it by parents. I'd be less worried if my kid watched a porn than if he watched the evening news (some of that stuff is plain scary). Finding topics about sex humourous is part of being a teenager. I guess that's what I get for openning my mouth. *heh*I think alot of people forget what it was like to be 14 again (I still have yet to learn, since I have yet to pass age 5 in terms of maturity ) - on the threshold between turning into an adult and still being a kid - but from what I have seen - the tighter the grip the parents keep on them, the more the kid will slip through thier fingers.
