billo 0 #52 April 30, 2002 woo hoo!QuoteWith the people that said they couldnt make it, do we even have enough?hell i'd like to start off by throwing my name in the hat! and the count is...(as of 11:45pm CST)andyman 1vallerina (LO) 2fallinwoman 3fallingilweenie 4sunshine (LO) 5jabeln79 6skymedic 7jjohnson 8me 9fallingmarc 10 (sunday only)HMMM...still falling short of the necessary 12. keep the thread going throughout the week so more people see it!Tomas - i don't know your size but if you are 6 foot plus you can wear my RW suit, it is a bit too tight for me (not that i've gained *THAT* much weight since AFF, but i had no clue i was *THAT* fast of a faller and bought the "standard" fit instead of the "baggy")...besides, i'd just as rather wear my freefly friendly clothes after hearing what this jump may end up like! j/k...so yeah, since i'm big and keep a good rate (aka make a large visible target for divers), i will volunteer for a base slot if we're sticking to RW. i'm all game for getting the record hit up the first day too so we can spend some quality 13.5 time sittin together too!i'll be in the f'ing giant motohome with my friends the couchfreaks rolling in late friday night, so you are all invited to swing by for some partying and fun times!i will see you all at the bon fire!billo
FallingILweenie 0 #53 April 30, 2002 Hey Anne--300 is currently scheduled for Archway for the weekend of May 17th, or whatever weekend is around that date.Billo--I am about 5'10, 160 lbs....and i fall fast if i wear the clothes i freefly in...my asking for a suit is more for the grips than for a fallrate/control type thing. But thanks for the offer and we'll see how it goes.In any case, this is gonna be a riot.blue skiesTomasoh, and is Tina gonna play? Anne, do you know?"Marge, it takes 2 people to lie. skybytch 273 #54 April 30, 2002 Quotestill falling short of the necessary 12. As a current record holder I suppose I ought to keep my mouth shut... but you only need 11 to break the record. That's 11 slot perfect, of course... but you only need 11. Two or more points would just be showing off pull & flare, lisa[subliminal msg]My website Go Now[/subliminal msg]

scottbre 0 #62 April 30, 2002 I am considering coming, but you can count me out of the record attempt, as I don't yet have enough experience to be in a big way of that size. 200 feet of Saran Wrap and noone to play with. . .
GrumpySmurf 0 #63 April 30, 2002 Maybe, it's a maybe.Gotta figure out where this place is in relation to SDC - will most likely be early Saturday afternoon after our group is done getting coached by Uncle Jerry. Just one thing, I'm super floaty (as Sunshine saw) - if you have me get out on the previous jump run, we should be able to dock.
diverdriver 6 #64 April 30, 2002 Grumpy, go west from SDC to highway 23. Go north about 30 miles. Maybe a few miles less than 30. Look for sign that points right to Hinckley. Go six miles. Aiport on left. If you get into town you've gone too far.Chris
sunshine 2 #65 April 30, 2002 Well good, now i know how to get there. I realized today that i had no idea where Hinckley was and someone (skymedic ) never emailed me the directions i asked for."A day without sunshine is....well....it's dark"

Due to the curvature of the fuselage, the bar is actually pretty deep in the plane compared to the edge of the floor. Launching chunks outta that door is gonna take some getting used to. The door is not as wide as an Otter either. But as far as the climb to altitude, tons of room....a regular party ship. It would be awesome if they could put a sliding door as a tailgate on it. Then it would be the ultimate jump ship.JJ
 FallingILweenie 0 #75 May 1, 2002 From what i understand, isn't the door like 6'7" tall?
