jceman 1 #1 April 28, 2002 Thank you all for your kind thoughts, wishes and prayers on the loss of my mother.I was most gratified by the people that responded not only with their sympathies but that actually called their mother before or after posting or sending me an email That really made me feel good for you and your mothers! Now for the request: If you feel it in your heart, what we have asked as a memorial is to make a donation to your local food bank and/or homeless shelter. This is something that Mom felt was important and did with regularity. Just a few simple canned goods will help; if you feel like it, make the donation in the name of Elizabeth Jane Ceman (even if you don't, the result will be the same -- a lot of people will be helped in a lot of places).Thank you all again. Michele 1 #2 April 28, 2002 Done. Tomorrow, the Burbank Temorary Aid Shelter, which is our only public food bank in Burbank, will get a donation in the name of Elizabeth Jane Cemen. And while I didn't e-mail or pm you, I made it a point to call and talk to my dad and mom, and even surprised my brother, sister-in-law and nephew and neice and popped over for an hour of play with them. I am so sorry for your loss, and I appreciate the reminder you gave us - remembering who made me smile for the first time in my entire life and thanking them for that is the most precious thing I could have done. Made them all feel very good.Ciels and Pinks-MicheleIf you really want to, you can seize the day; if you really want to, you can fly away...~enya~

Keith 0 #4 April 29, 2002 Jack:Consider it done, and I'd be happy to donate food in your Mom's honor. btw, I talk to my Mom frequently and see her quite often. I never miss a chance to tell her I love her. It's kind of funny . . . when I was in high school she used to make me give her a kiss right out in front of the school every morning when she would drop me off. It used to embarass the bajeebers out of me. The other day she did me the favor of dropping me off at the repair shop to pick up my truck (60K check up). I realized after I was driving home that I gave her a hug and kiss in front of god and everyone without even thinking twice. Keith
