Schroeder 0 #1 April 29, 2002 It was 3am, a night of socializing with friends and weirdos behind them, they sat on her couch. Him: a young man from northern BC, recently relocated to Van City. Her: a pretty asian woman, a couple years older than him. They had known one another for roughly a year now, although a fair bit of it was spent over the telephone. In recent months, friends, family, etc. had begun to ask more questions about the two of them; the two, seemingly close, friends. These questions in turn would cause them to question themselves in private, regarding the 'state of the union'. Last night proved to be most productive, as the two finally questioned one another, to see where they stood. If infact there were feelings between the them. After some assorted verbal gymnastics by both, it became clear. Finally, that the friends, and family were correct. They told one another what they felt and thought, her saying that although she was going to australia next spring, felt that if she didn't say something, that she was afraid that a once in a lifetime opportunity might pass. They both agreed that they had never met anyone like eachother before. And things were quiet. 6:30am comes, he stands and says his good-byes, and makes for the door. The agree to see eachother soon, as soon as possible, tonight around 8.The Slowman walked his way back to his car, thinking, grinding, smiling, breathing. The birds had come out. They were in the trees on the sidewalk, and on the power lines. He paused before getting into his car, and looked to the west. There, setting now, was the full moon."Huh" he thought to himself. Interesting."and if her "lawyer" friends don't like it, f*ck'em, let em riot.......we're Sonic f*ck'n Death Monkey..."
