I am considering going to Texas A&M after my first 2yrs at MAC and I wanted to know if anybody here had ever been there, and if they had, if it was a good school(Texas A&M, not MAC).Thanks.

Netta, I'm currently a Senior (class of 2002, WHOOP!) at Texas A&M University (College Station, Main Campus), majoring in History with a Minor in Speech Communications.
I can tell you anything you want to know about A&M and about the oldest collegate skydiving club in the nation, the Texas A&M Skydiving Club.
As for the school, it is like no other in the world, once you become apart of the Aggie family, you have a new family. One that is with you no matter what. You can go to any school, but A&M has a tradition of excellence that is beyond compare!

just be careful...if you go there you have to like lift your knee and hold your ring up in some fucky pose and go WHOOP!! but if your like not a junior and above you cant WHOOP or something like that cuase then youll get a wedgey!!!

Close, you're talking about our "wildcats" or our yells that are used for differnet classes. Just one of many of our great traditions that we have. What other school could do THIS a week after 9/11. This was organized by students and done by students in about a week. All the money raised from the T-shirts went to WTC funds (about $200,000 in all). A human cannonball, I rise above it all

Thanks for clearing that up...by the way OOPS I ment "funcky pose " not fucky...sorry bout that.....My wifes mom know a girl that graduated from there a couple years ago and came up to visit and was always doing that pose but I could remember the whole breakdown!!!

this really doesn't have anything to do with A&M, but since this thread is titled "college" i thinks its kinda appropriate. i just wanted to say that i just got done with my finals at 8:00 this evening, then i went to the bar and tied one on to celebrate...just got home. no school for 4 months! in a week i'm leaving for skydive chicago to jump my a** off this summer. YIPEE!

if i woulda went to college after high school i would be graduating in a few weeks....alas...i joined the airforce instead......hell it paid for my jumping..i aint complaining besides i got 53 sem. hour credits through it too......

I've always been told that my old skydiving club is the oldest continually running skydiving club in the nation. It's called Silvertip Skydivers in Missoula, Montana. Maybe my fellow club members have been feeding me full of poo-poo all these years. I wonder how we can find out for sure? Steve
