I promise to touch my handles religously. I also promise to drink one beer for all 9,000 or so registered users here who can't get enough skydiving in thier lives they must come here to spend thier weekdays with other jumpers. I will pull high, be safe, pay my packer, tip my JM(wait I am a JM - Tip me), turn my AAD on (two rigs 1 AAD hmmmmmmm), and I will yell a big "THANK YOU" to the skygods when my main opens, and most important of all...............I WILL BUY BEER!LOL.......hope everyone has a kick ass weekend.........Yeah baby! hughbetcha 0 #5 April 19, 2002 well, i think i have started to figure out how to get two of my favourite aspects of my life combined for even more fun! tonight my blues band is playing at the local university because i was able to set up an extreme sports evening and my local dropzone is comin down to show videos and recruit newbies and raffle off free tandems. then i am gonna set up a show at the dropzone where they will pay me in jumps and i will pay my band in cash cause they are not ready to let go of thier whuffo status. Schroeder 0 #7 April 19, 2002 aw dude, it was soooo easy. Type it into any search engine, and you'll come up with some sites. Then go to the construction section, and it'll show you how to build one. Mine's wood, it's in the (pic attached) It took me 2-3 nights in my apartment kitchen to build, and so worth it. All for under 200 bucks, that's a sweet deal. Anyways, the one in the pic is my 3rd board, and it's totally custom frm the trucks to the communication system I made and put on the undercarriage. It's tricked out, lol.Yeah, so to get into it, just make one, (or I'll do it for ya!), and start bombing hills. Buy a helmet, and get some leathers or kevlar when you have the $$ (you _likely_ wont need them right off the bat) I'm in Vancouver BC so if you come to town let me know and I'll take you out :)As far as I know there's about 4 other guy who do it here in town but I haven't run into them yet. Tomorrow, I will be at Bowling Green State University ALL DAY tomorrow taking the Praxis II test (teaching board test). Then, on Sunday, I will be reading a play in Spanish that will take about 8 hours.My weekend will NOT be fun. Oh well.Next Saturday and the following Saturday, we will be at the DropZone.
