Muenkel 0 #2 April 19, 2002 Seriously wingnut, I tore a rib a couple years back and the Dr. gave me Vicodin and that was nasty shit. I took one pill and I was sick as hell. Plus Vicodin is highly addictive. I'd be really careful. Ask for Darvocet if you want something less risky.Such an interesting monster with such an interesting hairdo.Chris
AggieDave 6 #3 April 19, 2002 A couple of beers and a vicodin and the panties come right off... Remember that if you see Wingy in the next while, just give him a beer and you're in like flint.Seriously, good luck dude, hopefully the civilian doc will be able to do more for you then all the king's horses and men were able to do.A human cannonball, I rise above it allUp higher then a trapeze, I can fly
freeflir29 0 #4 April 19, 2002 Dude....except the Vicodin part that all pretty much sucks!!! So I see you are going to become a semi-permanent resident of Ft. Walton Beach. I guess there are worse places to be stuck!!! Good luck and hope this turns out OK for ya. Maybe they will medical you out and you can get paid what you are now from the VA and just become a DZ bum!!! That would rock!!!!! "It's all about the BOOBIES!" skycat 0 #10 April 19, 2002 Yesterday was a down day for him, but he is a strong guy and today is doing better. Currently he is really drugged up, but he has made some big strides which will hopefully continue through the weekend so they can take care of his back next week. skybytch 273 #11 April 19, 2002 Vicodin is good, but push for some Soma too. The Vicodin dulls the pain and makes you not care so much, the Soma makes the muscles that are spasming relax. Between the two you'll be much better able to handle the pain. Just don't plan on driving anywhere. Regarding addiction - I was on them for over a year; for awhile there I was taking one 750 mg Vicodin and one Soma every 5-6 hours round the clock. Once they got the problem fixed (surgery) it wasn't too hard to get off of the pills - real life is way more fun than a narcotic induced fog pull & flare, lisa[subliminal msg]My website Go Now[/subliminal msg]
Muenkel 0 #12 April 19, 2002 Quotereal life is way more fun than a narcotic induced fogIsn't this the truth! However, when you're in brutal pain a narcotic induced fog is the place to be!BTW, "spasming"? Are you willing to risk the wrath of Jessica with this "word"?Such an interesting monster with such an interesting hairdo.Chris

That equates to $200 a month from Uncle Sugar. Funny thing is....my ear doesn't ring much anymore since I don't talk on a radio for a living and I broke my foot playing basketball. During PT hours of course so it was duty related...LOL. "It's all about the BOOBIES!"
Skyrose7 0 #16 April 19, 2002 Best of luck with your back. I had//have a herniated disk in my lower back. You have a FEW!!?? ONe was enough for me. That one disk managed to numb my left leg, and when it wasn't numb, it was throbbing. BEST OF LUCK to you. Are you going to get surgery? I managed to escape through chiropractics. Again, ENJOY your drugs. The mind is like a parachute--it works better when it is open. JUMP.
