FallingMarc 0 #27 April 15, 2002 0:7:3Mmm... good weekend for one on which I had not planned to skydive at all until the last minute! First Twin Otter jumps(Skydive Illinois was a blast! You people rock!), first kiss pass (thanks Sunshine ), and first tube dive (woohoo for Val's 200th). If only the wind hadn't picked up today... I feel great regardless... Cajun 0 #31 April 15, 2002 0:0:0 Relative work on Saturday. Sunday the runways at SGC were replaced by swoop ponds thanks to the weather. Some of the world's greatest feats were accomplished by people not smart enough to know they were impossible. Did tracking dives both jumps. Learned a lot. Flew into burble of other jumper and got to see the affects and also controlled my fall rate to get back to him when he got above me heheh. =) Did some turns and stuff too. You could say it wasn't *quite* tracking the whole time heheheheh "watch out here i come!" hehe. Fun fun fun!

skybytch 273 #39 April 15, 2002 Hmmm.... nah, not gonna do it. (Viking, you know what I'm talking about )0:5:0Five really fun ten ways at Otay - including a four pointer. Four HARD points too - a three way base with two wedges and a pod; broke into two wedges and a diamond, one wedge rotated 180, other wedge docked to make a diamond with tails, diamond docked to make triple diamonds; broke that to two 2way cats faced off with pods on the ends (bowtie); broke that to build a tabletopped BFR. A kick ass skydive! pull & flare, lisa
Skyrose7 0 #40 April 15, 2002 0:5:3Great weekend of jumping---but, saturday was rough. First time coming down with the plane (cloud cover), first time biting runway (doesn't taste good) and bleeding, first time jumping the transition rig. whew hew!! RedBull 0 #43 April 15, 2002 1:3:0Can I just say something about weather forecasts? Worthless! I'm completely convinced that they just make those things up. If I'd known is was going to be such a beautiful day, I wouldn't have drunk so much, slept so late, and I could have gotten more jumps in today. Idiots. If they don't know what the weather is going to do, they should just say so! I'll know better next time."Audentis Fortuna juvat." - Virgil

Viking 0 #45 April 15, 2002 Ya i am always up to help out a fellow jumper. Oh and i did enjoy having the the cashier ask for my ID, its kinda like a right of passage. I don't know.Plus i make it a habit if i am there on Sunday to go to McDonalds and get 20 .39 cent cheeseburgers and let people have at it. I try to make myself usefull when i am not jumping or asking questions. Lurked tandem for first time (docked on TM, shook passenger's hand) - on the ground I asked the tandem passenger about it, he was fixated on the ground the whole time, hadn't seen me at all and thought it was the TM shaking his hand!!!!
