wildblue 7 #52 April 4, 2002 QuoteNot sure, but aren't you are thinking of alcohol for the hands? I'm pretty sure that K-1 would burn you instantly. The alcohol gives a longer, pain-free burn - but the flames are harder to see (unless it's at night)Didn't we try it a few times with k1? I thought we did... of course, with all the AfterShock involved, who knows? Maybe it was just regular gasoline... that makes more sense QuoteAnd you would never think to blow the canned air at a cat or anything now would you?!Need I remind you that Peanut loves me?! Just because peanut likes sleeping on me more than you doesn't mean you have to still be all bitter about everything. There's a vacant sign that's hanging highBut at least you're not alone
SkySurfSnow 0 #53 April 4, 2002 WD-40 also is an excellent bug spray. It kills almost all insects instantly with it's penetrating action

freeflir29 0 #56 April 4, 2002 Speaking of cool chemical mixtures....An excellent chem timer to initiate something bigger is Brake fluid and powdered chlorine. Makes a nice burning mess with highly toxic fumes. You can make it delay a really long time if you use pool tablets instead of powder or vary the amount of chlorine you put in. What fun......."I'm a danger to myself and everyone around me!"-Clay

weid14 0 #62 April 5, 2002 ok this reminds me of another college days prank... we used to make a float for the homecoming parade (don't laugh it was a blast). anyway, the first year we made the float we had pyrotechniques, and by accident it burnt down (no, really, it was an accident). The next year, we only felt it necessary to keep the tradition alive... the floats are all made out of tissue paper, well, we had some firecrackers and lit them off, to my dismay they didn't lite the thing up, so we had to help it a little, well, It got kind of big and I tried to put it out (the fire), but the dry powder extinguisher only had some sort of compressed air charge in it. turned into quiet the inferno -- we we lucky to get out of it before it toatlly went up in flames... very fun
