AggieDave 6 #2 March 29, 2002 Yeah, I got my necklace from Pammi a couple weeks ago, talk about cool! I've recieved comments from jumper and whuffo alike, even had to take it off so a girl who does the hemp necklace thing could see how she did some of the knots. She was impressed. freeflir29 0 #3 March 29, 2002 Quotehow she did some of the knotsI hear she likes to stay in practice by tying down Merrick.....She does have quite a talent. "I only have 145 jumps so I always carry a JM so he can pull for me."-Clay

Pammi 0 #5 March 30, 2002 Oh thank you :) It really is pretty awesome to have so many people all over the world who are wearing something I made (and now Merrick too!). It's even better when I get such nice compliments. I even got a thank you card from someone the other day...Susan if you lurk here, thank YOU! Clay...that's pretty funny actually. I actually forgot about something of that nature once while gone and my mom decided to clean the house for me as a 'surprise' while feeding my dogs. She found some ropes. She said she was jealous, and amused :)New pin jewelry!

Skyrose7 0 #11 March 30, 2002 Pammi, you have no idea. It is the whuffo plague. "I have always wanted to do that....I just don't know if I can afford it." I mean, the nice person in me would tell her to stay away if she has financial problems, but the sdydiver in me wants her to be poor like me!!!The mind is like a parachute--it works better when it is open. AggieDave 6 #12 March 30, 2002 As I always tell people. Don't try to save for that first jump, just put it on a CC and pay for it later, other wise you will NEVER have saved enough to jump. That's what I did and wouldn't you know it, I'm still broke, even more so due to jumping, but it is and was worth it.If it was something they truely wanted, they would find a way some how."Homer Simpson, smiling politely." Pammi 0 #13 March 30, 2002 Oh def'ly guys. Merrick and I started out all conservative and screwed ourselves that first year. We were trying to do a 'couple jumps each a month'. Made IAD last forever! How dumb. But we all know it's an excuse ;) Poor whuffos. They get tired of coming up with em too :) My mom is coming around so well, that she actually bought my brother a tandem for his birthday so he would finally go and not have the money excuse...he came up with a new one about the dz being too far away. Mmmm hmmm...they are skeered :)New pin jewelry!
Magistr8 0 #14 March 30, 2002 Yeah I remeber the first time I went for my PFF. My mom was swearing at first then that passed and she was crying. After that step was acceptance and shw wished me luck. I did as most should do though and did mine over the course of 2 weeks and now my mom is thinking of getting me an altimeter for my B-day. How cool is that? Who ever said comming down from a high was bad obviously never tried this.Peter
