You can't go to MIT, be a hacker, and not write a few viruses. Kinda cool, being able to create life. As most of mine were written before anyone heard of the internet (arpanet, back then) there wasn't much negative connotation about them, and we spent some time talking about beneficial viruses. I remember one disk-defrag virus that was even nice enough to warn you what it was doing. One of mine just deleted email from annoying people. I got to make the list of annoying people, of course.
