This is getting scary..it seems like all the guy's "know" how to cook stuff.
I can cook cheese & beans on toast (for one) that is my staple diet.
I also managed to set fire to a tin of soup at work once.

The only cookbooks I own are for baking.
I never follow recipies. I usually just invent as I go along.

Nope. Not me. I'm actually the cook in my household.
Stop by, and I'll cook you dinner from scratch.
Then I'll chase you around the house with tongs and a baster before getting to dessert.

What I mean by put them in my cookbook is that I am going to put them ( the recipies ) in my cook book.

I will have to say I definetly did NOT. I use cooksbooks very loosly as I like to customize me meals and tailor them to my tastes. I have to say though that I am generally impressed by the way that everyone contributed to this thread. Tonight I'm making Thai Green Cury. ( Thanks Dale ) I just finished my shopping got out of the office early today. Anyways I cook not to impress women but to eat like a king and to make mom jealous.
P.S. My Mom makes a mean lasagna

I have an electronic recipe collection. You name it, I probably have a recipe for it. I have compulsive collection binges where I get obsessed with things. During my recipe phase, I got some software and accumulated a collection of about 150,000 recipes.

Sorry if that sounded insulting I assure you I don't want this thread locked over something so dumb as cook books. Yes your right I collect great recipies and take them down. My family very often has dinner parties and I grew up around great tasting food and would like to continue that tradition to my children and future family when the time comes.
