rapper4mpi 0 #1 March 26, 2002 Has anyone seen the Old Navy TV Commercial yet? It is for their Cargo Pant line and it is abosultely hilarious! They have a model in a skydiving harness (hard to tell which make) that is all white. He jumps and is flyinh down. The funny part is that he is not in his leg straps! Obviously they don't want to cover up the pants, but there is no way he could stay in the harness, very amusing!-RapCheck out the print ad here, no legs traps, not even inside the pants!http://www.oldnavy.com/html/promo/shop_default_cargo.asp
Remster 30 #2 March 26, 2002 havent seen the add, but, could the legstraps be inside the pants?RemsterMuff
AggieDave 6 #3 March 26, 2002 When I saw the ad, I thought the same thing, but I don't think they are. Of course, no one ever accused Old Navy of being hard line reality conformists, either.."ahhhhoo...the little guy hasn't done anything yet and you know its going to be good..." mountainman 0 #5 March 26, 2002 Quotehavent seen the add, but, could the legstraps be inside the pants?I dont think so. They certainly didn't go great lengths to make it look "authentic" with the background and so forth. Is that a leg strap in your pocket or are you happy to see me? hooked 0 #6 March 26, 2002 I've seen this ad too, I don't think it looks the least bit realistic! I doubt whether it is really a skydiver, it looks too "phony".J
SpeedRacer 1 #7 March 26, 2002 I saw that ad & wondered the same thing! Maybe those shorts are a part of the rig or something. Maybe the rig comes with the trousers! hmmmmmSpeed Racer"Fill your hand, you son-of-a-bitch!"

rapper4mpi 0 #22 March 26, 2002 It's much easier to tell on TV, but anyone know what kind of rig it is? Obviously it was custom for the shot, and obviously modified, but some company out there made it. I wonder how much a leg strapless, two riser, white toggled rig costs?-Rap

Someone is getting to the crux of the matter -- how do you exit a C182 with no relative wind? And no, it is not that trick a question, it can be done, and has been.
