iwanttofly 0 #1 February 20, 2014 I read manual back to back and searched online but it doesn't tells me what Optima II displays for few seconds when being turned on. Mine is set with beep at 5.5k, 4k for deployment and 2.5k as siren I should never hear. When I turn my unit on it briefly displays numbers I'm confused about. 02-00 on top ? 3770 might be my last opening altitude, 1017 ? and 24 at the bottom? Anyone knows what these are? Hellis 0 #2 February 20, 2014 I have always believed that the numbers on the VISO is the airpressure. And 1017 sounds like the airpressure. But that is just a guess, I don't know for sure.

Deimian 43 #4 February 21, 2014 I thought it was the serial number and the software version.
jumplongisland 0 #5 February 21, 2014 DeimianI thought it was the serial number and the software version. X2 I'm pretty sure it says it in the manual

BigMikeH77 0 #7 February 21, 2014 iwanttoflyAnyone knows what these are? I do believe that these are the serial numbers... I hope they are, it's what I wrote in on the registration page. Location of the S/N is one thing I couldn't find ANYWHERE in the manual or road map for the OptimaII.
PiLFy 3 #8 February 21, 2014 When I cough, & clear my throat. You can hear it. but it doesn't mean a thing. Those numbers are either just as meaningless, or they're inside data for L&B. I was told by L&B that Optimas don't have serial numbers.
iwanttofly 0 #9 February 22, 2014 well, the 1020 might have something to do with pressure. My last jump I pulled by 5k and Optima numbers changed just a bit. 02-20 on top (same), 3770 (same again), 1020 (was 1017) and 25 (was 24). So 2 numbers out of 4 are the same, 2 change. Hellis 0 #10 February 22, 2014 24 -> 25 : how many jumps have you made with it? What time was it you turned it on on these two occasions? Could 02:20 be time, but not correct time?
iwanttofly 0 #11 February 22, 2014 I knew this one might come up LOL. I do 4-5 jumps each time I go so at least 4 more since the last time I turned my unit on :). It is not a big deal, just was wondering about those numbers. It shouldn't be serial number. Imagine cost of adding those numbers into software. Serial numbers are mostly stickers glued onto surface. I'll take a note next time after few jumps and if I or someone else on this forum doesn't figure out what they are, I will quit asking.
