I just got a call from my mom. My cousin, who has been on dialysis for over two years and has been going downhill lately, is in surgery right now getting two new kidneys and a new pancreas!!! I'm SOOOOOO happy!!!!!! pull and flare,

wonderful, Lisa! My kid's piano teacher had a kidney transplant. The only bad thing now is she can't be around anyone who has any sick germs because of low resistance, but other than that, it's working well for her so far.

Well he made it through the surgery okay; as of 7 pm last night he was "holding his own" in ICU Even though I'm sure they won't read this... I'm sending out a HUGE thank you to the family of the donor. It's bittersweet that such sorrow for the donor's family could create such happiness for my family. What a gift they've given!
