Oh my god, I'm a cow!

So I just came back from the mall, and my hands are still shacking. I was trying to get a new pair of jeans, so I get my regular size, and that doesn't even come close to fitting me, so I get a larger size, and that won't fit either. i had a nervous breackdown in the middle of Macy's. I feel like a damn cow! And I'm leaving for Florida in a week. I don't even know how this happened, Last month I was skinny, and now I'm female version of Homer Simpson. I was sick in bed for 3 weeks, so I had to quit running, and I also quit smoking at the same time, and this is the result. Does anyone know of any crash diets that work in a week. My plan for now is just to stop eating, and take up smoking again. Sorry to rave, but I'm still in the state of shock.

I think with one week to go you should stop eating entirely and only drink water......I really don't think there is much you can do.
Also, I'm sure you are being hard on your self. I'm sure you look fine. Did you hear about that jean conspiracy were they mislabled millions of pairs of jeans with sizes smaller than they really were?;)

This is psychlogical. I am sure you have only goined a few pounds and people would not even notice. Do not go on the lose ten lbs fast and gain fifteen pounds faster diet. You are still young. Just get back to running and eating right.

And I'll bet you are all of a size Jr. 2 right? Relax......get back to running and eat healthy. If you chose to not eat, all your body will do is go into starvation mode and start eating its own muscle. You need to be strong to dive and swoop!

You can go without food for a week. I did that once.....lost 10 pounds between Monday morning and Friday morning. Made me tired as hell.....However...I seriously do not reccomend this to anyone. My neck was the size of a pencil.....:D and that crap is really hard on your body.

Don't do any crazy diets or fasts. It only causes your body's metabolic rate to slow down, thereby burning less fat. I heard from a medical show once that you can fast up to 9 days, and actually be fatter than when you started out, in terms of body fat percentage, because your body goes after your muscle first then fat when it needs to sustain itself. Buy some larger jeans, and relax. you probably look a lot better than what you think you look like. Women always pick their appearance apart and become way to critical.

Bill is 100% correct. A 'fad' diet sets your body into complete storage mode, a.k.a. make fat cause the food supply is gone n' might nit come back. Maintain a reasonable caloric intake and step up the exercise a bit. Eat breakfast to get your metabolism kicked up into burn mode in the morning and eat early dinners so your body is burning the fuel all evening and hasn't anything to put into storage(fat) at teh end of teh day when you go to bed. A brief workout before going to sleep kicks up your metabolism again and will burn off a bit as you sleep. Finally, water! Oxogen (cardio exersice) and H2O are required to metabolize stored calories (fat). Diet pills will typically be dieuretic and wring the water out of your system (think coffee). Without enough water, your body won't be able to metaboize your fatty tissues and will start using other sources of energy (muscle tissues).
By the way, I'm not a doctor... but I did stay in a aHoliday Inn;>

where in florida ya going??? spring break is in full swing now, it's crazy down here...had some friends go over to panama city beach last weekend...took em hours just to drive down the strip...people walking where passing them....... hope ya have a good time.....
