Beachbum 0 #1 March 12, 2002 drove up sunday morning, and arrived while the first load was on it's way up ... I got on the 3rd, I believe, and they got off one more after that, and a H-n-P load, before the plane had to leave due to weather ... but the dz is now officially open and in operation!! Lotsa beer in order ... first jump at the "new" dz for everyone there (including the dzo, who was on that 1st load naturally) , and first 206 jump for many (myself included) ... had a great time ... the dzo's wife came up with a great idea for their student canopies ... (wouldn't work as well at a large dz) ... they each have a different # of dark (maroon, of course!!) panels, so appear to be numbered I, II, and III ... will be great for the person handling radio duties.
