Muenkel 0 #1 March 4, 2002 I've been watching the news and naturally the events of Sep. 11 are still the top story. But I am noticing a trend now that people are getting back to normal and criticism is now creeping in over the war against terror. Do you think the citizens of our country are still really pissed or are we starting to get complacent?"I am a victim of my environment."Chris

larry 0 #5 March 4, 2002 A week after Sept 11th my greatest fear was that American resolve would wane over time, like it usually does. I think most American’s have short-term memory problems when it comes to matters of State. On the other hand the media coverage does get boring, but without it, I’m afraid there would not be the support from the masses that is needed to see this through. We need permanent long-term changes.“Hey, but that’s just my opinion, I could be wrong.” – Dennis Miller“I’m an asshole…” – Denis LearyLarry
AggieDave 6 #6 March 4, 2002 *shrug* I can't speak for the general public, but I know what *I* would do if I met one of those terrorists...it wouldn't be pretty, but I would feel a whole lot better, thats for damn sure..."Give me one ping and one ping only..." wildblue 7 #9 March 4, 2002 Well, I never thought we should go bomb the shit out of some third world country, but that's me. I'm not saying we should have just sat around and taken it, but there's better ways to spend the money and still get the job done without pissing off 2/3 of the world in the process.I think South Park said it best when Kyle said "In time, maybe we can learn to hate you too"Never argue with stupid people. They just drag you down 2 their level & beat you with experience
Sebazz1 2 #10 March 4, 2002 I don't know about anyone else but I am definately pissed. These f'ers have been a factor in our failing economy recently. And not to mention have been a factor in some disruptions to our skydiving community. The whole aviation community has and is being affected. Kill em all.........thats what I say...............Sebazz............

You see...in the real world the bad guys don't look like comic book evil doers. They are just people....shitty people but people. Some don't do so well when they realize it's people they are killing and not some comic book character....."I only have a C license, so I don't know shit..right?"-Clay
quade 4 #12 March 5, 2002 I think Dennis Miller said it best more than 10 years ago.I've gotta paraphrase this . . . I think this is about the way he said it."I know it's not politically correct to want to kill the terrorist because in doing so you lower yourselves to their level and in doing so they win. But, uh, it's nice to know a couple of their boys ain't going to the trophy ceremony."quadehttp://futurecam.com

GrumpySmurf 0 #15 March 5, 2002 Nope,a Can-ook. Supposedly can get a lawyer to push for citizenship due to grandmother being American and father being raised in the US, or some silliness related to that. But I'm happy being a former 'fur trapper and igloo dweller' with a work visa.
 AndyMan 7 #16 March 5, 2002 Really? I'm on a TN.
