I don't give a damn what's in the hand. What I want to know is that Xaos-27 84 the one you are sending me to evaluate?
BTW page 216 PPM Vol. I lists a P9-S and describes it as a manually or automatically operated bag deployed seat assy with a C-11 canopy in sage green nylon assy.
It seems the "-S" is a subtle diference that makes all the difference! :-) I was thinking it may have just been an overlooked detail.

Wild blue got it... (even though Michele was hinting around the "connector" idea first.... maybe they both win...)
Attached is a pic of the "P9" connector and a standard L-bar connector... these were used on old older round (reserves primarily, but also mains). The current L-bar is still used on tandem reserves in many cases...
What makes the P9 unique is the way the method for closing the l-bars... (the P9 is on the top and the standard L-bar below...) You'll notice the threaded piece in the middle has both left and right-hand threads to pull the two pieces together. There is also a hole in the right side that matches a hole in the (right) threaded peice...My guess is that when fully threaded, you can then safety with it shut?
Congrats wild blue and Michele... you each win a $100 merchandise credit for any Precision product. E-mail to claim your prizes... ( chris@precision.net )
Now, there are more replies to this topic than to Lisa's post on long distance love... lets all get back over there and supprot Skybytch...

a Lazer 8 ?
I was in a 3 stack one time with my Pegasus (7 cell), A Lazer 8 (8cell), and a Falcon (9 cell)... pretty neat 'cept the Lazer 8 has center a lines meet on the same line attachment loops... had to work to get your feet between 'em to plane down...

Wow,
Michele won a $100 certificate for gear and pm'ed me that (while she was only guessing), she wants to donate her certificate to Jump for the Cause... how nice!
However... she has no gear and she's thinkin of donating this...
Here's what we do... someone get a contact for the Jump for the Cause... post it here and we all make donations to JFTC and tell Michele to keep the certificate. I think her generosity can inspire everyone else to (collectively) raise even more for a GREAT cause and she has a start on gear for herself...
What do ya think?
