kevin922 0 #1 March 4, 2002 Go to DISNEY WORLD!I just got a call from this new resort about 3 hrs from where I live (it is in Williamsburg, VA) they got the wrong number when they called (wanted some Mason family or something) I told them they got the wrong number, they were like is this "blah blah blah" i'm like yeah, so they said well we have the right number just the wrong people. Turns out they were calling to promote this new resort, they said all we have to do is come take a 2 hr tour and they will give us airfare, hotel, and tickets to disney world in orlando, FL! And we can go anytime we want. Doesn' that rawk? I was kinda skeptical but they said because we don't advertize on radio and tv we can use that money to provide trips and whatnot. They're sending me all this stuff in the mail to assure me it isn't a fraud, and turns out one of the people at our house right now did the same thing and said it was legit! That is too cool - sounds like i'm gonna be doing some skydiving! I'm excited.(Sorry, thought i'd brag)Kevinhttp://www.interone.net

AggieDave 6 #3 March 4, 2002 You might want to take a big can of bull-shit repelent, for the sales pitch...that stuff usually works, unless listening to an old jump story from the '80s, 70s or even earlier, then its power is useless..."That shit's gonna kill ya if the women don't get you first..." Ducky 0 #4 March 4, 2002 Actually be prepared for 2 sales pitches. One at the resort you tour near your home, and a second when ya get to Fl. They will conveniently put you up in a nice Days Inn 10 miles from anything, but a "short stroll to their luxurious new timeshare resort". They will offer something else "free" for touring that one if your lucky and they don't require you to tour before they let you check into the hotel.Anyways fight em off and take all they'll give ya I went to Disney, Miami and Vegas on those bums!!kwakStupidity is a crime. I do not understand. Uh, well if the Director of Sales and Marketing was from Texas that would be a different story. A guy I know used to go on those things all the time. Went to Mexico and Hawaii for free. He said it's not the best amenities, but if you don't care and can find your own fun as opposed to relying on a resort, you can have a blast for cheap.cielos azules y cerveza fría-Kevin
 AggieDave 6 #11 March 5, 2002 Quote"Back to School" with Rodney DangerfieldDing Ding, yup! They fly you down there so you will buy a time share, condo, etc... and they use VERY heavy handed, high pressure sales techniques. they will tag team you, and do anything they can just short of chineese water torture to make you sign the dotted line. IF you are good at saying no repeatedly, its a decent deal.
