indyz 1 #26 February 26, 2002 D'oh, yeah I guess 2.5 would be more like Peotone. I live in the Gurnee/Waukegan area during the summer so I'm 4.5 from my home DZ, 1.5 during the school year.--BrianHomepageAIM: suprmath
AggieDave 6 #27 February 26, 2002 Quote7:30 am on a -Monday- returning from the DZ (let's say I slept over and now need to get back) it -could- (and has) take(n) as much as THREE hours. I'd totally blow it off except ya know, there's that work thing happening 5 miles from my houseTake a business casual change of cloths with you, stay at the DZ till Monday and have the pilot take the first load a little long. AggieDave 6 #28 February 26, 2002 I'm only about an hour from Waller (SDHouston), but I still sorta consider Eagle Flight Skydiving in Granbury my home DZ, which is around 3 hours away. That doesn't depend on traffic as much as it depends on cattle trailers going up highway 6, since it is 2 lanes for all except about 25 minutes of the trip. Atleast with a CB you can get them to let you around. "And who are you?""I'm...Batman..."

Snowbird 0 #30 February 26, 2002 On a bad day, five minutes. I live under the approach to the airport. Part of the reason why it's absolute murder to be home on a nice day on the weekend; I can watch every load! My in-laws live just across the road from the airport, so it's even worse when I'm visiting with them.Only one good solution to this dilemma... Go to work? Not!
