AAD on 94 Javelin

This may be a silly question but I'm a newbie.

I've found a container that might work for me. It is a Javelin with a DOM of 1994. The seller says that it does not have a AAD installed. Can this model of container have one installed? I've found some containers online that stated explicitly that they can not be installed. I want to make certain that this is something I can add later.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Definitely. Is very likely to already be setup for one.

Thanks! It comes with a Fury 220 main. It just might be a good starter rig for me. I will continue to check it out.

My 1993 Javelin came 'Cypres ready'. I 'd say the 1994 Javelin would be too.

The Fury was a good canopy. But an old one is not a good choice for first rig these days. It's likely wore out and won't fly.or.flare like your next canopy and maybe not like your student canopies. I don't recommend old non zp canopies to newbies. They may be airworthy but to many better canopies available unless you've been there, done that in the past and know what your getting.

Thanks for the heads up. I wonder if I could pick up the package for a decent price if it would be worth it just for the container.

Then again I might just be getting to excited to get my own rig. There will always be good deals out there.

I have a rig here a newbie bought. We're retiring a similar main but the H/C and reserve were fine. For some reason the ebay link didn't work but I wouldn't suggest ebay as a source for used gear.
