scottbre 0 #26 February 15, 2002 Besides, you'd have to do a HALO jump just to be able to listen to a whole normal length song anyway. Seems like way to much effort for the tiny bit of reward that might be gained. "Let the rabbits wear glasses. . . "
AggieDave 6 #27 February 15, 2002 I have an Intel 6000 (i think it's 6000, its something thousand...), the newer one. I love it, use it when I'm working out, running, etc. It has 64mb of space and you can put MM cards in it and boost it up. I'm still meaning to take it with my skydiving, just haven't quite done it yet."Alright, at 4500 lets break it, turn 360 and track away..."

kingbunky 3 #31 February 15, 2002 the nike thing i bought is kind of a flattened egg shape (no sharp edges and you can lock the controls so they don't get bumped) and like i said, you can wear it on your arm. use a pair of bud type ear phones, run the cable down your back inside your jumpsuit and voila, free fall tuneage."Jumping out of planes for the thrill of it all."-J.Geils Band

Opie 0 #33 February 15, 2002 I just bought a RioVolt sp90. Out of the box this thing is a piece of crap. Thats OK, it's probably while I got it at BestBuy in an open box for $70. then $20 rebate= $50 net. Rio doesn't support firmware upgrades on this model but you can do it anyway. Just go to the Rio site and download the lastest and greatest firmware upgrade for the sp100 model which has awesome reviews at amazon and sells for $150. Change two things in the file and flash the firmware on the sp90 and bang, you've got a $150. mp3/wma/wav player for $50. It now thinks it's a sp100 and will take any future firmware upgrades that are released. Only things you don't get are-backlite screen and remote in cord. The thing doesn't skip and if you use wma files you'll easily hold over 200 songs per cd.Savings= 6.66 jumpsAin't technology great!!!OpieIf your not on the edge, you can't enjoy the view! Strynx 0 #47 February 15, 2002 Hey Aggie. My instrument is the guitar. I really love Jazz too. Are u still playin alot? My intrest are towards Teaching & Reseach. I want to design a program that's guided towards Jazz at a pre-U level. I had to study Classical and then go into a program called " Jazz Popular music" wich only covers a small area of Jazz Really. There's a lack of Jazz Teacher's in CDN when in College. The only way you can get indepth Jazz Teaching is at the University and the Admission rate is 10%-20% in Most University Here. So i think if there was a better Pre-U Teaching the Admission rate would be Higher Thus more skills available.P.L.U.R.

AggieDave 6 #50 February 15, 2002 Sweet, I love guitar, some day I'm going to learn to play...Yeah, I play regularly, of course I never practice enough, but the band reherses together every week and we have a gig about once a month or so.That sucks that you have to get to college to start getting taught about jazz, we had it in my high school, although that's not the norm. The school I went to had a kick ass music program. "Alright, at 4500 lets break it, turn 360 and track away..."
