JeffGordon 0 #1 February 14, 2002 Sunday, my friend Chip Steele celebrated his 3000th skydive. Although we had been warned by S&TAs and other psychic advisors, we decided to pie him anyway. As Chip was being pied, the jump plane he was in was landing and barely missed a Citiation landing on the same runway. One of the instigators (me) who happened to be in the air at the time, experinced a lineover and had to cut away his main. (This is all on the same video with the pieing. I learned today my main was damaged by the lineover). Within hours after the pieing, the clouds rolled in and jumping ceased. Please people do not sacrifice safety for a momentary cheap thrill!!
