skyhawk 2 #1 February 10, 2002 ok im goen for a job and i need some help any1 good at english/coverleaters can you tell me what you think of this Dear Andrew Drever, I would like to apply for the position of Key Operator Photocopier/Printing if it is still available. While I have never worked in a printing shop I am not only a very fast learner but also enjoy learning new things. For example I am currently teaching myself the Russian language, while quite difficult I am finding it very rewarding I am a hard worker and don’t mind going the extra mile to get a job done well. While I am not a perfectionist I see my work as a reflection of myself and therefore aim to produce the best possible results regardless of the task. I pride myself on my customer service skills, which I have perfected over the past two years as a floor person in my role I was required to go that extra step as part of our “Experience the difference” philosophy. In doing so I was required to be not only cheerful and polite but also most important helpful and sincere. I also excelled at selling in the candy bar. This is where I drew my most sense of accomplishment when I was able to have someone come up wanting a coke and leaving with a meal, and not only that but be happy with there purchase. My candy bar figures are always high and I often have friendly competitions with workmates to see who can get the most combo sales Shifts are not an issue for me I am more than happy to work whatever hours or days are required of me including weekends and night shifts, and overtime While I do currently reside in Brisbane I am more than happy to relocate to Caulfield for this position and I am available to start as soon as you require Yours sincerly Ben Hart thanks (o)(o) i got a iq of 189 so there

mountainman 0 #9 February 10, 2002 OK, here is how I would do it. I just copy/pasted and changed stuff that I think is wrong. Sometimes I can find stuff:Dear Mr. Andrew Drever, I am interested in applying for the position of Key Operator Photocopier/Printing if it is still available. Although I have never worked in a printing shop, I am a very fast learner and enjoy learning new things. For example, I am currently teaching myself the Russian language. While it can be quite difficult at times, I am finding it very rewarding, personally.I am a hard worker and do not mind going the extra mile to get a job done well. I see my work as a reflection of myself and, therefore, aim to produce the best possible results, regardless of the task.I pride myself on my customer service skills, which I have perfected over the past two years as a floor associate. In my role, I was required to perform my tasks as part of our “Experience The Difference” philosophy (where?). In doing so, I was required to be not only cheerful and polite, but most important, helpful and sincere. I excelled at selling in the candy bar (where?). This is where I drew the most sense of accomplishment. For example, when someone came to me for a soft drink and happily left with a whole meal, that gave me a sense of accomplishment. My candy bar figures are always high, and I often have friendly competitions with workmates to see who can get the most combo sales.Shifts are not an issue for me. I am more than happy to work whatever hours or days are required of me, including weekends, nights, and overtime. I currently reside in Brisbane, however, I am more than happy to relocate to Caulfield for this position. I am available to start as soon as you require.Sincerely,Ben HartOk man....that is what I found. Hope it helps.JumpinDuo.com...come and sign the guestbook. Jessica 0 #10 February 11, 2002 Hiya sweetie...not much on commas and periods, are ya? This is how I would fix this up. What, specifically, does being Key Operator Photocopier/Printing involve? Why would you be good at it? I'd stick that in somewhere. DateYour addressgoes hereAndrew DreverTitleAddressDear Mr. Drever, Please consider me for the position of Key Operator Photocopier/Printing. I am not only a very fast learner but also enjoy learning new things. For example, I am currently teaching myself Russian. While it is quite difficult, I find the process very rewarding.I am a hard worker and don’t mind going the extra mile to get a job done well. While I am not a perfectionist, I see my work as a reflection of myself and therefore aim to produce the best possible results regardless of the task. I pride myself on my customer service skills, which I have perfected over the past two years as a floor person in the cinema. In that role, I was required to take that extra step as part of our “experience the difference” philosophy. In doing so I strove to be not only cheerful and polite but also -- most importantly -- helpful and sincere.I also excelled at selling in the candy bar.
