Skydive within eyesight of the ocean and celebrate with us on our opening
weekend. Nothing fancy... just fun skydives with real friends. The most
beautiful dropzone in all of Florida. Welcome Home!
Open Saturdays and Sundays 9am until dark.
Skydive Flager Beach is located at the Flagler County Airport.
Phone 386.437.4757
Follow our future web page for further updates: www.skydiveflaglerbeach.com

Nothing on the website yet, but I understand that they open this weekend.. Give 'em a try..
Mike

at 80 miles an hour, you can be there in no time!! :) (I made it from New Smyrna to Orlando airport in record time last week -- I left work at 5:52, and was at the gate for my 7:20 flight at 7:15). so 85-90 on I-95 is not out of the question.

Wa-hooo!! Dang, that's good news- I liked that place when it was open before, even tho we had to ride in a bus from the landing area to the DZ proper.... Flagler is a beautiful small town, nice beaches- and as I recall, beach jumps for qualified jumpers were a common occurance, too ;) And is this the same Howard Adams from Skydive North Georgia/Ellijay jumping days, worked at one time on canopies with Red?

Mike,
Do you know if it is open now or what kind of aeroplanes (used the British spelling for our friends across the pond) it will employ? Checked the website and it's under construction. But I'm geeked.

Sorry, Aviatrr, didn't read your full post before I did. I guess I had a premature ejection from the board because I got too excited. That reminds me of somthing, but I can't quite put my finger on it. Hmmm......

Well, I didn't say previously because it's second hand info, and figured it would be better to get it from the source, but........they are starting with a Cessna(182 I believe), and trying to get a Porter.. Unknown if the Porter is for this weekend or in the future.. Details are kinda sketchy at this point - best thing is probably to call Howard and ask..
