T-Shrits (again)

We need a DZ.com t-shirt. I know this has been tried before, but it needs to be tried again. An idea how to accomplish this: Have one of the larger gear stores subsidize them. Take prepaid preorders for X amount of shirts, to justify the shop having them made. All transactions would be held through the gear shop and they already have the system setup to take payments AND ship the shirts. If possible, have some of the proceeds go towards a good charity of some sorts.
As for ideas? Who knows, I was thinking along the lines of a white short sleeve, with a small dz.com logo on the left breast and have a cool pic on the back...like Clay swooping into a heard of sheep with a sheep that has a thought bubble that says "Oh-$&#@ here comes Clay again" Or something along those lines
Who knows, there's more creative people out there then myself to come up with a design. But I think setting up the T-shirt sales through one of the major gear shops would give a bit more reliability in the quality of the shirts.
Also, this would finally give us all a "secret handshake" of sorts to wear when going to DZs. People could even go get their screen names put on them (as was suggested in a different thread by someone cooler then meBitches, Gripes, Complaints? Other ideas? Any leads to a gear shop that would be willing to undertake this task?

I'm all for it. I like the idea of shortsleave t-shirt...keeps costs down. And whoever decides to become the vendor, they can plug in their own logo somewhere! Have you seen the pic of a space shuttle w/ the planet "earth" in the background and skydivers & parachutes coming down! That would be cool...since this is "world" wide! Just my 2 cents. Going to bed now...cause tomorrow...I be JUMP'N! :o)

i'll tell ya what, i designed t-shirts for years.( in the stAtes)
we gotta come up w/ ONE solid idea, like dz.com logo in front, and a logo in back that is ageed upon otherwise we may as well all go get our own.
if it isnt a BULK order is ISNT a bargain.
im about to say the hell w/ it and get 12 of my own. yes 12!
if i was back home i would offer to frint this thing but unfortunately im in korea(which sells cheap shirts...i think)

I'm sure you've heard it before, but cafepress.com is a good way to go. While the shirts aren't screen printed, they are high quality (A lot better than many concert T's I've owned). They print on demand, and the prices are not bad.
And while the T-shirts are good quality, the coffee mugs are *excellent*. I was really surprised at how well they turned out.

Hell....I really don't care anymore. I really want to get a shirt or five before this coming season. Especially for boogies and stuff. Either we can do it through the internet (not my choice) or someone do it at a local place (my choice since you can see it before and talk one-on-one).
Someone please talk HH into it since I am not getting anything out of him.

I think cafeexpress.com was who was used last time and the shirts fell apart. (letters/logos came off, etc) So that was why I was suggesting getting a gear shop to sponser the t-shirts. Hell, I'm with ya, if it doesn't happen, I'm going to go get a couple made for myself, and anyone else in the south Texas area can go in with me on them.

Just FYI, you guys might consider just a local shop also. For instance, the one that I work at, the shirts start at 14.95 a piece, depending on size and if you need extra transfers for front and back for instance, and they will make the transfers out of anything you want pretty much and press it on shirts they have available. They are only white, that's what turns out best, but they are pretty decent as far as quality. They will fade a bit after many washings from what I've seen of the one Merrick wears, but it's not bad for the price, and putting heat back to it livens it back up.
Anyway, I'm sure you guys can find places locally, or the shop I work at right now's website is:

I know they are talking of shutting the thing down when I leave though because they don't want to go through training someone else, and the other person who started the whole thing is retiring.
Anyway...I'm sure there are such places you can check into locally also.

Hmm. I still have my dz.com shirt and its in great condition. I wore it all summer and used bleach on it too (I have a hard time keeping my whites clean!!) So I don't know what the problem was. I thought it was a money thing.
Might as well just have your own made. That was my plan back in the beginning before HH made them.

I have a definate source for hats. We could get the Dz.com logo on the front and if we wanted customized with names on the back. High quality wool hats and different color combos available depending on demand. The hats could be ready to ship to us individually in a few weeks.
$20 seems like the initial cost but if demand is high that may go down. Email or post here if interested, the source can take Visa and Mastercard.

You guys can sit here all you want and talk about it. However, someone needs to get permission from HH and I've already tried, but he doesn't write me back...ever. So you need to work that out with him since this site and all the logos are his property.
