For now, here's a working link to it: http://www.skydivingmovies.com/uploads/Arthursjumps.mov. By the way, I cant view it from here. Whats the most appropriate directory for it? /misc/? Viking 0 #5 December 22, 2001 Thanx jason the song is Incubus "I wish you were here" its off there new album Morning View.oh and just incase you can't read the text The first one says "Whuffo you jump out dem planes", then "Mommy whats wrong with his face", "Franks&Beans" , "Should i arche more?", "No!!!", Then the part i can barly read "I have a surprise for him.......", "he has no idea whats going on!!", "I am going to push him out" this was all done as inside jokes for the Otay crew. Brandon what do you mean by the actual video? do you mean the actual jump vids from the dz or the video you just watched but on vhs? please explain.Now back to the jump suit.....As luck would have it the jumpsuit i chose for my lvl1 jump had a bad zipper that i didn't know about till i was in the sadle, i looked down to see where i was and i saw my shorts and i swear to god i said "WTF Isn't there supposed to be a jumpsuit there!!" i then saw it trailing behind me and figures out the rest. If you watch the jump vid you can see the zipper give way just as i start my practice touchs. I felt somthing wipping my ankle in free fall but that being my first jump thought it was just the loose fabric slapping around. then when i dumped the opening made the zipper go right up to my chest. Viking 0 #11 December 23, 2001 oh i see well i tryed to get as many of the still from actuall 35mm film and not from the video b/c the quality isn't as good. and i can get the full length versions of all my jumps thus far when school starts back up. In much better quality mind you. You can see my freak arch in action . but this won't happen till like mid Jan unless i can get Dave to make them into .mov files for me.......i will ask him in the morning. If you worked with it you could be a hero.This is actually the only video I have ever made. I broke 5 bones on this jump. After that I kept having trouble with the freakin standby button. Tom from Elsinore sent me a CameEye II for Christmas, (and I havent even met him, huh... video cams rae good ). So that issue is resolving. I have been told by many a camera dude that for a first video it rocks huge. I have the plane in the background and the whole 9 yards. The only thing I hate about it is when I went headdown I wound up 90 degrees off from Nick. I did not take into consideration I had a rudder on my head. (its a topmounted TRV11, which is the only quality film way to go, imo) Anyway, you can see that I get unstable and I fixed that by grabbin my helmet and holding it. Then I carve back to a sit and look for Nick then he shows back up again outside of a cloud. Hey, Hey, Hey... I want my video that I shot of Nick on here someplace... I was going to put it in the video vault - but I cant figure out how. ? It is the video I shot on my first camera jump.
