taron 0 #1 June 30, 2014 I'm looking for a rigger in Long Island who could take care of my inspec/repack. Do you have someone you would recommend?
jumplongisland 0 #2 July 1, 2014 Shaun at Skydive Long Island is the man. He's there usually every day there flying.
Shyamarose 0 #3 July 1, 2014 +1 for Shaun. Duncan Shaw is at SDLI and great as well.

taron 0 #5 July 11, 2014 Thanks all. Dumb question: how long does it usually need to do a full repack/inspection? Should I drop the gear and get it a few days after? What is the usual price for a repack/inspection? I am new to the US system, I was used to get my repack job done in France.
wolfriverjoe 1,523 #6 July 11, 2014 Not a dumb question. An I&R takes a couple hours, depending on how much background research the rigger has to do. How long it will take you to get your rig back is dependent on how busy the rigger is (how many are in front of you in line). Cost varies, $50 is on the lower end. $75 is more typical. You can pay an extra "rush" charge to get jumped to the front of the line if you're in a big hurry."There are NO situations which do not call for a French Maid outfit." taron 0 #8 July 22, 2014 Shaun was the man indeed, thanks to him (and Erik) and was able to remove the dust from my gear and do a jump after 2 years 1/2 without skydiving!
