FallingMarc 0 #5 December 2, 2001 Hey, coming to join us up in the frozen wasteland! I haven't jumped up in Chicago yet but I have friends who do, and I plan to sometime... ya gotta come on down to Archway sometime once you're in the area too! We've got a King Air and miles and miles of farmland...The midwest doesn't really suck, only in the winter.
weber 0 #6 December 2, 2001 You have your options in Chicago...I think that Skydive Chicago is the place if you are looking for a fast paced, upbeat environment with all different types of people, but I think Skydive Illinois is better because of the more friendly atmosphere. Skydive Illinois is a pretty big DZ, but the attitude is more of that in a smaller DZ. Both DZs have the planes. SDC with three super otters in the summer and SDI with a super otter and a king air...I guess it just depends on what you are looking for...
chicagoskydiver 0 #7 December 2, 2001 Weber is right on. Chicagoland Skydiving in Hinkley is pretty cool too. Skydive Illinois is now under new ownership. One of the staff intructors bought it and we're looking forward to some exciting things happening next season! The new owner wants to focus on better load organizing and customer service. Also, from past experience, I know he's really into barbecues so we'll have more of those in the future. I look forward to meeting you up here! airann 1 #8 December 2, 2001 I wouldnt mind moving there if it wasnt so far from Texas! -and then there is the weather issue. It was 45 or something here the other day and it was terrible. I have so many friends there already! My best bud from high school runs a law practice there. And then there is Hackey!!This post just turned me into an Old Hand...... Hummm..... I am not too sure about that title... Key word -OLD- I think it should be experienced,... or no beer expected,.... Diva should be a title, maybe for Pyke, ...Pappa Poh-Bah for Zennie, and evidently FeverishlyFlyinFingers for Skreamer. -my ramblings...AirAnn of http://www.AirAnn.comMultimedia Page: secret link- upper left hand corner

mountainman 0 #12 December 3, 2001 You'll also have to get your arse over to Indiana for some jumping. However, I'm sure Laura and I will make it over there to SDC if that is where you end up going. Or....whereever else. hehe-------------http://www.JumpinDuo.com"oh no. Not another one"-Alienangel
