skybytch 273 #1 November 29, 2001 Hey all...Reno was soooo much fun - so much fun we stayed an extra night! Had a kick ass room with a jacuzzi on the 11th floor of the Peppermill, just a short elevator ride from the casino. Walked up to the craps table on Sunday night with $40 and a couple hours later walked away with $230. I had to have another chance. Talked the b/f into going to the Hilton just for me (he was up over $400 at that point)... walked up to their table with $60 and 45 minutes later it was gone.Broke a cardinal rule and hit the ATM for $60 more that I really couldn't afford to lose . Went back to the table, laid it down and the numbers started hitting. Got the $60 back that I lost in no time, and then the dice got really hot and I started upping my bets. Ever had $35 riding on a roll of the dice? How about $50+ on the table at once? Talk about pucker factor! But when they hit... Long story short - walked up to the table for that last session with $60 and two hours later danced away with over $380!! Anyway, it was loads of fun and I can't wait to go back and play some more. 6's and 8's.... gimme lots of 6's and 8's!And even better... I'm still on vacation! Don't have to go back to work until Monday. It's going to take that long to go through the 1525 new messages on this forum! pull and flare, lisa

Wassituya 0 #4 November 29, 2001 I love to hear about another addict of Craps! I absolutely love the game. At one time, I lived just one and a half hours from the Nevada border and was there at least every other week. Welcome to another rush!

flyhi 24 #6 November 30, 2001 Was in Vegas once and stopped by the SANDS. Saw a guy in a tux drop my house payment, utilities, and food for a month on the roll of the dice. I laughed all the way back to the nickel slots. My mantra: Play slow, lose slow.flyhi

mountainman 0 #8 November 30, 2001 Good to hear that you had a great time in Las Vegas. I have never been there, but it sounds pretty fun. However, I'm not much into gambling....however the sights seem like a pretty awesome spectacle there.Glad you had fun. -------------http://www.JumpinDuo.com"oh no. Slappie 9 #10 November 30, 2001 QuoteEver had $35 riding on a roll of the dice? How about $50+ on the table at once? I am so glad I live in Texas. We have Lake Charles La. about 2 hours away, but it's not the same as Las Vegas. Because I love CRAPS!! I usually have a minimum of $50 to start with on the COME LINE. I've had upwards of over $2000 on the table at one time. Call it stupidity or whatever. When it comes to Gambling it takes money to make money. I never go to Vegas with less that $5000. I usually walk away with that or more. Have been known to lose it all too. Gota love lady luck! My New Website with 24hr Chat

SniperCJ 0 #12 November 30, 2001 Ive never been able to understand all that craps stuff...too much goin on all at once.I did sit down at a blackjack table once with $200 and walked away a couple hours later with $1000.THAT was fun!CJ
skybytch 273 #13 November 30, 2001 I'd much rather play a game where the house has under 2% advantage (craps) than a game where they have 5% plus (every other game in the place)... Craps isn't real confusing if you stick with only a few bets. I bet on the pass line, then max odds on that once the point is made, then place the 6 and 8. Makes me money most of the time and I have to have been there hitting the free cocktails for awhile to get too far behind. pull and flare, lisa

homer 0 #15 November 30, 2001 Craps isn't my game, but roulette is. I'm a cards dealer in a casino dealing BJ and and pokerBeware of the toes you step on today, for they may belong to the ASS you kiss tomorrow.

wceviper 0 #17 November 30, 2001 at least in BJ you can count the cards, but only if you find a single deck dealer, those are hard to find. Craps is a blast, Thats gotta be my favorite too!-Jason

Jabeln79 0 #19 December 1, 2001 I was just at a casino the other night at Harrah's in St. Louis got off work early called a freind and lost my money that quick.. Played "Let IT Ride" most of the night.. and let it all ride away.. bummer.. I still cant figure out craps way to much going on..
SniperCJ 0 #20 December 1, 2001 Actually if youre playing "book smart" BJ, the odds on BJ is the lowest of any of the casino games, cutting the house odds down to like 1/2%.If youre card counting (which you CAN do on a multi-deck shoe) you can actually shift the odds slightly in your favor.Roulette, I hear, has the worst odds in the house, unless you stick with even odds bets (like black or red).Slots are the absolute worst!CJ
lummy 4 #21 December 1, 2001 Roulette is the only table I've been able to hold my own. If you stay with the even money or the 3:1 odds, I can paly for a while and usually walk out with a coupla bucks. BJ and slot poker is a a quck loss
