SkymonkeyONE 4 #1 November 21, 2001 Just a note to say that I will be in Atlanta for turkey day. I am leaving today and probably not going back to NC until Saturday. Might pop up to Monroe to visit Joe Bennet and party; haven't decided. Definitely going to mountain bike on the Olympic course in Conyers on Friday.ChuckMy webpage HERE

SkymonkeyONE 4 #4 November 21, 2001 Rule seven of the Skymonkey credo (look in your handbook)7: if they are old enough to sit at the table, then they are old enough to eat! But hey, I am a married man and my wife (who still has a few more jumps than me) would kick my ass. I may try and get out to make a few, but it won't be in Thomaston.ChuckMy webpage HERE
freeflir29 0 #5 November 21, 2001 "if they are old enough to sit at the table, then they are old enough to eat"Yeah.....but thats actually a reference to a PBS documentary on the Syphillis outbreak in the Rockdale county highschools......DOH!!!!!! freeflir29 0 #7 November 21, 2001 "is that the channel with Hee Haw on it?"It has to be better than when I lived in Tennessee and turned on the local public station only to find a "Coon Dog" competition on. I still chuckle about that one!!!! "Shut up Dummy!"- Fred G Sanford

Talk about bittersweet! First off, it was outstanding having most everyone on my mothers side of the family in one place at the same time. That has not happened in at least 10 years. Sad thing is that my parent's (mom and stepdad) dog, a very old Cocker Spaniel that was suffering from cataracts (sic?), couldn't barely hear, and had some serious arthritis, walked out into traffic yesterday morning just as we were all pulling pitch and leaving. Dead as a door nail. My parents were wrecked! I ended up collecting the pooch out of the road and packaging him for burial. Very sad. I also had a motorcycle club buddy die in his sleep in Savannah last Wednesday. Had planned on making the viewing and the grave-side service, but my prospect failed to call me in Atlanta with the times, so my wife and I missed the whole thing. Re-routed anyway and stayed all last night at the wake. Haven't slept in two days and I have got to be at another Thanksgiving function in one hour. Very odd times.Hope you all had a pleasant Turkey Day with your loved ones. As I understand it, Canadians actually celebrate Thanksgiving a month earlier than we do. Is that correct? And you "foreigners", do you have a similar holiday?"it's better to burn out than fade away"ChuckMy webpage HERE
 lewmonst 0 #13 November 26, 2001 chuck, man, i was hoping to see you. I was at CSS from wednesday night until today... it was beautiful thursday and friday, lots of good jumps. saturday was lousy, but opened up enough for 1 and 3/4 loads, that is, a regular load and a 9800 ft. load. i had a great dive on that one though, 4 way flower launch, break to opposing sit with opposing headdown, got a dock in too (i should say, he docked on me, cuase i'm not that good, but i was there :) )... made 13 total down there. really good people, great boogie, good evening socializing as well...anyway, sorry i missed jumpin with you again. hey what's the xmas new year plan? i haven't decided yet, considering sebastian or eloy, or where i can get a cheap flight and hitch a ride to the dz...lew
 SkymonkeyONE 4 #14 November 26, 2001 Damn Karen!didn't know you were going. I couldn't have been there anyway due to the unforseen circumstances. Dan and his crew didn't make it down from NY either due to vehicle problems. Anyway, Christmas will be tied up in Salt Lake City (snowboarding and visiting in-laws), Las Vegas (partying), then in Alabama a bit (skydiving and visiting relatives). I am sure we will run into one another again, so have a nice holiday.ChuckMy webpage HERE
 Strynx 0 #15 November 26, 2001 " As I understand it, Canadians actually celebrate Thanksgiving a month earlier" You're right.
