I Just need a moan about PDF

Why?
Oh, ONLY because PDF have quoted me mid January for the delivery of my new canopy (& end Dec for the container)!!!
Sounds ok until you realise that I ordered it 14 weeks ago (which was the origional expected delivery time)!!!
Thats a total of 5.5 months wait. Im angry and thoroughly pissed off.
Cant afford crap hire kit anymore.
So I cant jump and have no rig for my holiday in December :(
(I know this has happpened to loads of people)

I've heard a few other horror stories with customer ralationship at PDF...
What do you expect from as French company? lol (PS: I'm allowed to blast Frenchmen.. I'm one)... good gear, poor service...

That sucks big time - however, I do have to say that you should have bought an Odyssey.
If it makes you feel any better I should have a pc-9 for when we go away so I'll come and jump with ya and you can put some cool vids on the web site.

Speaking of Odyssey's...does anyone know if the riser cover issues got resolved? I thought at some point people were complaining that they weren't staying closed properly, and after having finally seen one in person, I can see why. Perhaps that's already been fixed on the new ones?

Don't know why you think the riser covers are a problem on the odyssey - mine are solid as a rock and never come undone - this was a problem on the original javelin though.

Trent sent his container back after they sent him a demo with a Sabre2 main. He has not got the container back. I'll let you know how they fixed it when it returns (Sunpath said it could be a rebuild or a replacement depending on the problem.) Kat and Hoop have not sent theirs back as of today.

I've seen Kat & Hoop's new rigs and I'd be scared to jump them. Looks like a manufacturing defect on the riser covers. Not the tabs themselves, it's the way the fabric comes over the risers and toggles on the back of the container. It flops open and you can see the toggles and the risers themselves.
Anyone else seen this?

Hi !!
It seems that PDF has numerous problems of production in its factories of the Mauricia.
The delivery periods are directly affected, and sometimes the quality feels the effects of it too.
Some customers, considering delays very long, would have obtained a lower pricing.
