Pilot 188 in Infinity I45 container

According to the infinity canopy compatibility chart, you have to go a size up from the I45 to fit the Pilot 188 but can use a Spectre/Safire/Sabre 190. I'd like to consider the Pilot 188 to put in this container and wondering if anyone has done it and how it's worked.

It should be just right if you get the ZPX version, as I have a 210 ZPX in a size 6 main tray that fits easily.

Pilot 188 will fit well in an I-45 if it is ZPX. Typically a regular Pilot (not ZPX) will pack one size higher.

Randy- A ZPX Pilot 188 will absolutely fit into an I-45. I've had two different ZPX 188's packed into an I-54 and an I-44 as demo/rental rigs. They're snug but fit perfectly fine in those, which are one size smaller than you're asking about.

I have an I-45 with a Pilot 168ZPX in it right now. How did you fit a 119 in an I-45? Did you have to add padding to the packing tray to keep it from becoming too loose?

A VX is a cross-braced canopy; it packs larger than a non-cross-braced.

It'll fit but MAYBE it's a little on the snug side. How "full" the reserve tray is might also affect how it packs- if you also have a big reserve in there it's going to be tighter.
