cyric77 0 #26 October 8, 2001 The decisions that you make in the air in regards to your safety are your own. The fact is you made the right choice for yourself, and you should disregard the comments made to you after the fact. I bet they told you during your first jump course that every skydive is your own, maybe you should remind them of that, and also that it is your butt up there not their's. Good Job, and safe landings.

Slappie 9 #28 October 8, 2001 QuoteThats a bummer the Cards blew it todayI had to answer to this line first Anne.. GO ASTROS!!! Now onto your decision to cutaway. Welp I would have done the same thing. I'm pretty confident in my landing ability. I've only got 20 jumps and am learning something new everyday. If I was in your place I would have done the same thing. Not having the experience and jumps to practice with rear-riser turns and flares. I have practiced with the rear and front risers with altitude. So since reading your post and all the other answers. I believe I shall be practicing riser turns and flares with a bit more understanding....Keep up the Jumps girl!! My New Website with 24hr Chat
chopchop 0 #29 October 8, 2001 Hey Anne,As my sig suggests, you did the right thing. If YOU are not comfortable with the situation, you have to change it. That's what I do and how I got my handle.chopchopPD makes canopies all day long, you only have one life, when in doubt, cut away...
