Pammi 0 #1 October 5, 2001 Now I too am officially unemployeed. I told the boss to f*** off today. They were wanting me to do my old job (ya know, the one they gave to someone else) plus my new one cuz she's not cutting it and needs help...for the same pay of course. The straw that broke the camel's back..she wanted it, she's got it! Hmm..never been unemployeed. Now what? :)Hemp/skydiving jewelry pics!

wingnut 0 #7 October 6, 2001 got this from my aunt, thought it might be apropriate here.....--------------------------------------------------------------------------There is a new virus going around, called "work".If you receive any sort of "work" at all, whether via email, internet orsimply handed to you by a colleague...DO NOT OPEN IT.Work has been circulating around our building for months and those whohavebeen tempted to open "work" or even look at "work" have found that theirsocial life is deleted and their brain ceases to function properly. If you do encounter "work" via email or are faced with any "work" at all, then to purge the virus, send an email to your boss with the words"Sorry...I'm off to the pub". The "work" should automatically be deletedfromyour brain. If you receive "work" in paper-document form, simply lift the document anddrag the "work" to your garbage can. Put on your coat and skip to thenearest bar with two friends and order three bottles of beer. After repeating this action 14 times, you will find that "work" will nolonger be of any relevance to you."up my noooossseee"- wingnut, at first euro dz.com boogie
Jumperpaula 0 #8 October 7, 2001 Quote Hmm..never been unemployeed. Now what? :) How exciting! Picking a new job, the anxiety of the "first day of work" , new tasks, new people. Sounds like a great adventure. (And a great excuse for a day at the salon and a new outfit!) You won't have walked out if you thought it was worth keeping. Fly Your Slot ! Pammi 0 #9 October 8, 2001 Thanks guys :) Nope, no unemployment regardless...I was a 'permanent temp' ...mm hmmm. They 'couldn't get permission to hire me on directly', though they promised it upon my hire. So oh well. First job I've ever quit without it being to go somewhere better/more money/whatever. Kinda invigorating...and yes, now that I think of it...exciting!*kisses all around*Hope ya all had great weekends!PHemp/skydiving jewelry pics!
