PhillyKev 0 #1 September 20, 2001 Well, it looks like we can jump as long as we're outside Class B airspace. I couldn't find any maps on the web but I found some for sale. The one for sale for the Philadelphia area covers the area where CrossKeys, NJ is located. But that's just the size of the map. Don't know if we're under Class B airspace without looking at the map. Can someone check it out for us????cielos azules y cerveza fría-Kevin

Aviatrr 0 #5 September 20, 2001 Quote Better take a couple rolls of aluminum foil, just in case Naw, if it comes to that, the pilot will just turn on the exit light, and tell everybody to get out.. Instant chaff!Mike
TheMarshMan1 0 #6 September 20, 2001 I've never jumped at Cross Keys before, but I am a pilot that is somewhat familiar with the area (unfortunately i cant find the charts) and if I remember correctly, Cross Keys IS outside Philly Class B airspace.....-Marshall
rogue108 0 #7 September 20, 2001 I called Cross Keys earlier today and they said its a green light for jumping. They are just outside Philadelphia's Class B Airspace. Too bad its been raining for them.
weid14 0 #8 September 20, 2001 Cross Keys is 13.9 nm from PHL, but the class B airspace is shaped like a D. A jump run to the northeast will, however necessitate either a short spot, or two passes as it's really, really close.
