Urgent: Downtown Phoenix evacuated 9-14-01 11:00 MST/PDT

A four square block area of downtown Phoenix has been evacuated.
The FBI has tracked from LA, what is believed to be a car/car bomb.
There is a second car in the area which is said to be a decoy.
No further info.

There have been a number of scares around here (DC) that have turned out to be false alarms as well. People that call in false bomb reports are pretty messed up in the head.

They are indeed. This is an act of terrorism.
All threats must be investigated and taken very seriously - which would be a very good reason why the terrorists behind this weeks tragedy may be doing this. However, if it is some local yahoos having fun, they a playing a very serious sick game that makes them no different than a terrorists; they are aiding in the damage of their own country.
