Ok so i am done with AFF and i did my first solo..

Now what do i do? I know i should be asking my JM's but its tues night. So you guys get this one. Is there a list of things i have to do to get my A?? i know i need 20 jumps, learn how to pack, and a hop-in-pop but thats all i know. Could you guys fill in the blanks for me until i get back to the DZ on sunday?? thanx alot guys Remember when Sex was safe and skydiving was Dangerous?

OK, here's a list of what you have to do to get your Dutch A-license, minus all the stuff you've done during AFF:
- Consolidation jumps (one from 7k, one from 5k (both opening at about 3.5k), and a hop'n'pop from 5k and from 3.5k)
- Written test
- At least 25 freefall jumps
- At least 15 minutes of freefall times
- 10 predeclared landings within 15 meters from the target
- packing test
- spotting
- 5 RW coach jumps
- 10 seconds of stable delta position
- floaters exit
- unstable exit, being unstable for at least 5 seconds

Get your orange A license card form your instructor, or your S&TA. It will have all your needed TLO's for all your remaining freefall, and canopy flights, also skydiving far-bsr required reading. The card looks like a lot of work, but if your done with your AFF you've done a lot of it already. Keep your logbook up to date even if you have 1K jumps it's a good habit. Keep your learning curve going like it is and you'll be a really good jumper at 100 jumps, doing mega point dives. Have fun!

You can download the A license proficiency card from the USPA website at uspa.org or get one from your JM. Once all the requirements on that card are met and signed off on, your S&TA will stamp it with the official USPA A license stamp and that becomes your temporary A license until you get your official number from USPA. Note: you need to have adobe acrobat to download forms and docs from the uspa website. If you don't have it, you can download it for free. I think there is a link on the uspa site for that. You can also download the SIM there for free.

Is the AFF course different in different places? I think we have to do two solo hop'n'pops (one exiting at 4 000, one at 3 500) to graduate AFF.

The AFF program is the same, or should be at all uspa dropzones. There may be little differences, but the diveflows and TLO's are the same. That's the beauty of the program. The level 8's are the clear and pulls, but they are not assisted in freefall by an AFF jm or I.
