weid14 0 #7 August 9, 2001 depends on where you live. there were three canopies (at least) unlocated on Saturday at Cross Keys. One of them was found Sunday afternoon. The problem - it was in a tree 60 feet up, not visible by air (a cessna was rented to go out and look for it). and barely visible from ground (as a purple/green/black canopy would be). living in a dessert, or farm land, that might be a different story. that said...I'll rely on my eyes though and not spend that $$. People were out looking, but this guy usually finds the stuff long after we've given up. It's not like he's there waiting, I think he's got all the tree climbing gear also.
