phorty 0 #1 July 23, 2001 I finally got to do my first four way this weekend. It's weird that it took 60 jumps to actually do the first one! All my previous jumps (other than the AFF) have been two ways to eight ways but no four ways. The loads just always worked out that way. Anyway,I have been lurking the site more than posting but I feel that I know most of the enthusiasts like you were jumping at my home DZ. Having said all that I qualified for my Falcon Award this weekend on my first four way! I want to thank the three other skydivers who showed faith in my abilities and let me jump with them. Thanks to all the experienced skydivers out there for teaching and jumping with us newbies. Blue skies!
Zennie 0 #2 July 23, 2001 Congratulations! Great feeling isn't it.It took me forty-odd jumps of doing RW before I finally got it. Of course, finally getting together with 3 other jumpers who were experienced at 4-way RW helped (and made it a lot more fun!).------------Blue Skies!Zennie
mouth 0 #3 July 23, 2001 It is a good feeling when you earn an award, but also a good feeling for those who jump with you. I was like a kid when we pulled an 8 pt 8 way today for two younger jumpers. I ran around and got the paperwork filled out for them and everything I was so excited for them. CONGRATS...you rock!BTW......beer!!!!!
FallinWoman 1 #4 July 23, 2001 Congrats.I was getting frustrated until my DZO decided to get me my falcon. The four of us turned ten points (that's a double falcon...). I still get frustrated with my skill level, but is is reassuring to know that I do have some skill....Blue skies,Anne
