Viking 0 #1 June 25, 2001 Well my left calf to be precise.Lets start from the beginning shall we. *waves hands in the air* Doodly Doodly Dooodly 6:00am-Smack the F#%# out of my alarm clock and get up, get dressed (really damn fast i might add). I get my camera bag and say I love you to my mom who had gotten up when the dog upchucked next to the front door. Nothing messy just a couple chunks of corn cob. (to much info? well to bad its my story so deal with it!!!! )So i get to Otay at around 7:30 and hang around until someone opened Manifest then i went and filled out all the Legal stuff and laughed at the really old video and the guy with beard down to his waist!! So i do all that shit and then just hangout until ground school starts. Now i have to say ground school was really cool there were only four people so the instructor wasn't spread to thin. Plus none of the people asked the classic dumb questions so the class moved right along. We went through all the malfunctions and stuff the cutaway procejures and many others. I now understand why you guys sweet so damn much those things are freaking hot!!!!! Ok so now its jump time Steve is talking to me and going over all the stuff for the jump and Dave is doing his video thing I got my rig on and my leg straps tight and the excess stowed away Helmet on ok climb into the plane. Damn this thing is so awkard!! ok bend over and skoot to back sit between Steve and Dave. Start sweeting like a horse again jesus its hot in here. Take off WOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOO. ok sombody opens the door good good. Hey now what hell is that smell?? its not jp1 its not BO that right SOMBODY CUT THE CHEESE Ok after holding my breath and damn near passing out Steve smacked me and told me to slide down the bench. Ok we get to the rear of the plan one more solo before i go. Damn they have go around again. ok shut the door waiting waiting SOMBODY FARTED AGAIN!!!!!! damnit twice in one plane ride WTF. anyway we back on jump run open door damn its cold up here!! Ok dave is out the door, reserve JM is in the door i hobble my blue turtle self in to position look over at steve he asks if i am ready to go (jesus what a dumb f%$#ing question) i scream back at him YESSSSS. Lood straight ahead rock out rock in GOOOOOOOO holy shit i did it again i jumped and I am loving it!!!!! ok ok ok count to five then check Alt ok scream 12 at steve. Theres the PRCT signal. Ok i learned this in ground school...... oh ya!! grab it realease back to arch, grab it realease back to arch, grab it realease back to arch ok now what the hell is that stinging feeling on my leg???? i geuss thats just the extra fabric whipping around I will just ignore it. ARCH!!!! geek the camera steve gives me the check alt (i lost atl awareness pretty bad *smacks self on the forehead*) ok 6 grand lock on damn that thing moves alot faster than i thought it would. theres 5 and a big double waveoff and reach back.....webbing!!!! damnit ok try again ahhh there she is pull and throw!! start the count 1-2-3-4-5 look and check the chute Looks fine ok look down. Hey what the hell are my shorts doing there!!! where is the jumpsuit at. It turns out that that stinging feeling in freefall was my jumpsuit blowing open and whipping the shit out of my calf (you can see it in the vid when i get it on my comp). ok do the canopy control check it flares damn good. Dead silence god i love it up its so sureal. left turn OUCH OUCH OUCH OUCH son of a bitch my leg strap is biting into me HARD!! ok enough left lets try some right ok here we go one spin two spins pulling some G's baby ok enough of that. Ok start thinking about my final oh wait i am at 2500 its decision time flare again to make sure nothing happened nope looks fine. Jigjag back and fourth until i get to 1 grand then head down the runway on my base leg the plane is landing under me how cool is that. Now i am at the end of the runway and i hear steve tell me to do a left 90 but i do a left 180 whoooops ok so i do a right 90 ok back on course. Ok turn left 90 on final he tells me to aim for dave so i steer it towards the dude witht he blue video helmet Now i hear steve saying Not Yet Not Yet Not Yet Not Yet FLARE!!! PERFECT STAND UP LANDING BABY HELL F$@#ING YA I would like to thank all the people that Incouraged me here on DZ.com You know who you are and a special Thanx to Trina, Steve, Dave, Leslie, Bunny, Buzz, and Donna for those so well writen stories on your webpage i learned alot from you. SKYDIVING KICKS ASS!!!!P.S. I might do lvl 2 next sunday but i have to let this one soak in first.Remember when Sex was safe and skydiving was Dangerous?
