hjumper33 0 #1 November 26, 2014 Looking to make a harness out of neon green webbing for a base rig. Cant seem to find it anywhere online, and the only reason I believe it even exists is because in the MLW repair section of the riggers handbook has the example done on some. Looks like its type 8 in the picture. Anyone got any leads? I just found this but not sure about the rating or type. Breaking strength. Smart rigger types please weigh in! http://www.strapworks.com/Flat_Nylon_Webbing_p/fnw2.htm
RiggerLee 61 #2 November 26, 2014 Neon green? WTF is the world coming to? Black, dumb ass. Base rigs are made from BLACK. There are other things I could address here, but I just can't get past the neon. LeeLee lee@velocitysportswear.com www.velocitysportswear.com
JerryBaumchen 1,371 #3 November 26, 2014 Hi 33, Quote Smart rigger types please weigh in! I don't know about that 'smart' req'ment but you could try here: http://www.ballyribbon.com/products/core-products/mil-spec-pia-spec The only problem is you will probably need to buy about 10,000 yards. Drop them a line, they just might have some remnants laying around. You never know. Jerry Baumchen
fluffyduckie 6 #4 November 27, 2014 Sun Path offers neon green webbing for harnesses. If you ask nicely, they will likely sell you some or at least give you their vendors name."I love when humans fly,"
riggerrob 643 #5 November 27, 2014 Camoflage colours should blend into the background. Black camouflage disappears on moonless, rainy nights. Neon green camoflage disappears into the graffiti covering inner city neighborhoods.
hjumper33 0 #6 November 28, 2014 Haha rest assured lee that this is for a wingsuit, so all but about 1 inch of the lateral will be completely contained in my black wingsuit. The rest of the container will be black 210 dyneema which I think will make a nice contrast. Thanks everyone for the leads.

hjumper33 0 #8 March 8, 2016 I know this will make Lee pissed, but finally completed this project over a year later. I present my first creation.
