Hi folks,

Have you ever found just one sock & wondered what happened to the other one?

I was digging through some hardware for some upcoming work and found these.

So where did that 4th removeable 3-Ring really go?

The screw on the center one in the picture has been screwed in, so it may be the oddball? Did you get one to see what they were like and them bought a pair?

Now you've just advertised that you have RW-6's.
If you lose any more, it's probably a rigger with interesting projects who will have stolen it.

Clothes driers eat odd socks, but they only eat even-numbered socks. If you try to dry a pair of green socks and a pair of blue socks, the drier will eat one of each colour. It is part of driers' normal diets.

Where did you find them, Jerry? I was wondering if they made such an animal, now I know. I'd like to find a pair of them myself.

In the late 80's, Forgecraft blundered on some production of 3-ring harness rings. They forgot ( ? ) to heat-treat them. The results were some rings that were deforming under everyday opening loads.

These were replacement rings so you could cut off the 'soft' rings and then thread these replacements into the harness.

AFAIK they were a 'one-time only' deal.

I remember buying some RW-6 rings years ago. I bought them from a person that was selling them in groups of 5 along with some other stuff. I traded two of them for some vintage gear and kept the other three. Do you want to buy or sell one?
